FAQ
Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about staying cool.
How does AERØ ONE™ work?
AERØ ONE™ combines powerful personal airflow with an integrated cooling plate to deliver targeted cooling wherever you need it. Adjust the fan and cooling settings to create your preferred level of comfort.
How does the cooling plate work?
The integrated cooling plate rapidly cools when activated, creating a refreshing cooling sensation when placed gently against your skin. It's particularly useful around areas such as your neck or wrist.
How long does the battery last?
AERØ ONE™ provides up to 12+ hours of battery life, depending on the fan speed, cooling settings and overall usage.
Do I need to add water or ice?
No. AERØ ONE™ uses an integrated cooling plate, so there is no need for water, ice or refills.
How long does it take to charge?
AERØ ONE™ takes approximately 1.5 hours to fully charge using USB-C.
Can I use it while charging?
Yes. AERØ ONE™ can be used while connected to a power source, allowing you to continue cooling even when the battery is being recharged.
Is it suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. AERØ ONE™ is designed for personal cooling on the move and is ideal for outdoor activities, travel, festivals, sporting events, summer days and everyday use.
However, keep the device away from excessive water, rain and submersion unless specifically rated for water resistance.
Is the cooling plate safe on skin?
Yes. The cooling plate is designed for direct personal use. Apply it gently to the skin and avoid keeping it pressed against the same area for extended periods.
If you experience discomfort or excessive cold, remove the device.
How loud is it?
AERØ ONE™ operates at a maximum noise level of approximately 29 dB, making it exceptionally quiet for personal cooling and suitable for environments where you don't want a distracting fan noise.
How long does delivery take?
We offer nationwide delivery across South Africa.
Orders typically arrive within 1–3 business days, depending on your location and courier service.
Do you offer returns?
Yes. AERØ offers a 7-day return policy.
Products must meet the conditions outlined in our Returns Policy, including being in the appropriate condition and accompanied by valid proof of purchase.
